- Scamorza Cheese 400g
- Garlic 2 cloves
- All-Purpose Flour (to taste)
Seasonings
- Olive Oil 2 tbsp
- Oregano (to taste)
- Salt (to taste)
- White Wine Vinegar (to taste)
Steps
- Remove the germ from 2 cloves of garlic.
- Heat 2 tbsp of olive oil in a frying pan over low heat with the germ-removed garlic until fragrant.
- Slice the 400g of Scamorza cheese thickly.
- Once the garlic has infused the oil, remove the garlic.
- Lightly coat the sliced Scamorza cheese with a thin layer of all-purpose flour.
- Pan-fry the Scamorza cheese dusted with flour over medium heat until browned on both sides and melted.
- Once the Scamorza cheese is cooked through and softened, add oregano (to taste) and white wine vinegar (to taste), and briefly increase heat to coat.
- Transfer to a plate and season with salt (to taste) as desired to finish.
