A delightful pancake featuring the exquisite sweetness of pan-fried bananas. Simply mix the ingredients and cook in a frying pan for a crispy exterior and a wonderfully fluffy and chewy interior. This is a perfect and easy dessert for a snack!
Ingredients
Main Ingredients (2 servings)
- Banana 1
- All-purpose flour 60g
- Eggs 1 1/2
- Heavy cream 1.5 tbsp
- Baking powder 1.5 tsp
- Butter 22g
Seasonings
- Sugar 60g
Steps
- Slice 1 banana into 7-8mm thick pieces.
- In a bowl, add 60g of sugar and mix well to prevent lumps.
- Sift in 60g of all-purpose flour and mix.
- Add 1.5 beaten eggs and mix until smooth.
- Add 1.5 tsp baking powder and 1.5 tbsp heavy cream, mix further to create the batter.
- Melt 22g of butter in a frying pan over low heat.
- Once the butter is melted, add the sliced bananas to the pan and cook over low heat. (This is the key!) Sauté until the bananas are fragrant, their edges are softened, and they become melty, being careful not to burn the butter.
- When the bananas are melty, pour the prepared batter into the frying pan.
- Cover with a lid and cook over low heat for approximately 8-10 minutes.
- Once the surface has set, flip it over, cover with a lid, and cook for another 10-12 minutes.
- It's done when a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
