Ingredients

  • Thinly sliced pork 200g
  • Onion 1/2
  • Bean Sprouts
  • All-purpose flour 1 tbsp

Seasonings

  • Scallions
  • Garlic
  • Ginger
  • Soy Sauce
  • Vinegar
  • Sugar
  • Sesame Oil
  • White Sesame Seeds
  • Grated Ginger 2 tsp
  • Mayonnaise 1/2 tbsp
  • Soy Sauce 1 tbsp
  • Cooking Sake (Rice Wine) 2 tbsp
  • Mirin (Sweet Rice Wine) 1.5 tbsp
  • Sugar 2 tsp
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Vegetable Oil (to taste)
  • Black Pepper
  • Scallions

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine scallions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, sesame oil, and white sesame seeds.
  2. Rinse the bean sprouts and pat them dry with paper towels.
  3. Season the thinly sliced pork with salt and pepper.
  4. Divide the bean sprouts into 8 portions and wrap them with the seasoned thinly sliced pork from the bottom, rolling them up.
  5. Place the wrapped sprouts seam-side down on a microwave-safe dish. Sprinkle with salt and pepper again, and drizzle with cooking sake (rice wine) 2 tbsp.
  6. Sprinkle with black pepper and cover loosely with plastic wrap.
  7. Microwave on 600W for 5 minutes. If the meat is not cooked through, continue microwaving.
  8. Pour the prepared scallion sauce over the microwaved pork-wrapped bean sprouts, and garnish with scallions if desired.
