  • Baguette (as needed)
  • Tomato 1 pc
  • Garlic 1/2 clove

Seasonings

  • Olive Oil (as needed)

  • Pepper (to taste)

Steps

  1. Slice the baguette into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Thinly slice the garlic (1/2 clove).
  3. Remove the stem from the tomato (1 pc).
  4. Cut the tomato into appropriate-sized pieces.
  5. Place the cut tomato into a bowl.
  6. Mash the tomato with a fork until it becomes a paste. (Key Tip: You can remove the skin if you prefer.)
  7. Toast the cut baguette in a toaster oven or similar appliance until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Rub the thinly sliced garlic onto the hot, freshly toasted baguette.
  9. Spread the mashed tomato paste onto the baguette as desired.
  10. Arrange on a plate.
  11. Drizzle with olive oil (as needed), and season with salt (to taste) and pepper (to taste). (Key Tip: You can garnish with parsley if you like.)
