A versatile sauce that goes with anything – Chrysanthemum Pesto. Easily made by blending ingredients in a food processor. It's perfect for pasta, meat, vegetables, and other dishes, and also great for meal prep. It even suppresses the unique flavor of chrysanthemum greens, making it a delicious sauce recommended even for those who don't usually like them.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients (Meal Prep)

  • Chrysanthemum Greens 60g
  • Garlic 1 clove
  • Peanuts 30g

Seasonings

  • Olive Oil 100g
  • Grated Cheese 2 tbsp (10g)
  • Salt 2/3 tsp (3g)

Steps

  1. Wash 60g Chrysanthemum Greens and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Cut off 5mm to 1cm from the base of the chrysanthemum greens and roughly chop into about 1cm pieces.
  3. Add 60g Chrysanthemum Greens, 1 clove Garlic, 30g Peanuts, 100g Olive Oil, 2 tbsp Grated Cheese, and 2/3 tsp Salt to a food processor and blend until it forms a paste. (Key Tip!) Blending thoroughly until a smooth paste is formed ensures even mixing of ingredients and suppresses the unique flavor of the chrysanthemum greens, making it delicious.
  4. Once everything is a paste, the Chrysanthemum Pesto sauce is complete. (Key Tip!) For meal prep, transfer to a sterilized jar and consume within 3 to 1 week as a guideline, stored in the refrigerator.
