- Pull-apart cheese 1 stick
- Spring roll wrappers 5 sheets

- Water 1 tbsp
- Vegetable oil (for frying)

Steps
- Cut one stick of pull-apart cheese into 5 equal pieces.
- Stuff the cut pull-apart cheese into the holes of the 5 chikuwa.
- In a bowl, combine 1/2 tbsp all-purpose flour and 1 tbsp water, and mix well to create a flour slurry.
- Place the cheese-stuffed chikuwa on one spring roll wrapper and roll it up once.
- Fold in both ends of the spring roll wrapper to match the ends of the chikuwa.
- Place one perilla leaf at the seam of the roll.
- Brush the flour slurry onto the perilla leaf.
- Roll tightly from the front.
- Place seam-side down. Repeat with the remaining ingredients.
- Heat an appropriate amount of vegetable oil in a frying pan and pan-fry the spring rolls.
- Fry until golden brown and crispy on all sides.
