- [A] Grated Wasabi 2 tsp
- [B] Toasted Sesame Seeds 1 tbsp
- [C] Salt and pepper (to taste)
Steps

- To reduce bitterness, thinly slice the bell peppers into 1cm wide strips along the grain. (Tip: For a more bitter flavor, slice against the grain.)

- Drain the microwaved bell peppers thoroughly using a sieve.
- In a storage container, combine Shiro Dashi (White Soy Sauce Base) 3 tbsp, Water 2 tbsp, Olive Oil 1 tbsp, 1 can tuna (drained), and Grated Wasabi 2 tsp. (Tip: If you are sensitive to spice, reduce the grated wasabi to 1 tsp.)
- Mix all the seasonings well.
- Add the drained bell peppers and toasted sesame seeds 1 tbsp, and mix everything thoroughly.
- Season with salt and pepper (to taste).
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.
- Once the flavors have seeped into the bell peppers, the 'Devilishly Delicious Marinated Bell Peppers' are complete.
- (Arrangement Example: Bell Pepper Penne) Add the marinated bell peppers and their liquid to cooked penne pasta and mix well. (Tip: The marinade has a distinct wasabi flavor that complements the pasta beautifully.)
- Taste and adjust seasoning with salt if needed.
- Plate the dish and sprinkle with shirasu (whitebait) or chirimenjako (dried baby sardines).
- Sprinkle bonito flakes (katsuobushi) over the entire dish.
- Scatter chopped seaweed in the center to complete the 'Bell Pepper Penne.'
