- 3 slices Ham
- 1/8 Onion
- 1/2 Cucumber

Steps
- Cut 3 slices of ham into 1-1.5cm wide strips, then further cut into 1cm cubes.
- Thinly slice 1/2 cucumber.
- Add 1/3 tsp salt to the thinly sliced cucumber, rub for 30 seconds, and let it sit for 10 minutes.
- Rinse the salted cucumber, squeeze out the water firmly, and then pat dry with paper towels.
- Grate 1/8 onion. 【This is the trick!】 Grating the onion tightens the flavor of the potato salad, making it taste like it's from a restaurant.
- Mix the grated onion with 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp vinegar, and a pinch of salt.
- Boil enough water in a pot to cover 1 egg.

- Turn off the heat for the boiled egg, drain the hot water, and cool in cold water for 10 minutes.
- Peel the cooled hard-boiled egg and finely chop it.
