Ingredients

Main Ingredients (1 serving)

  • Tomato Rice 250g
  • Egg 1 pc
  • Salted Pork 10g
  • Cilantro (to taste)

Seasonings

  • Sesame Oil (premium white) 2 tbsp
  • [A] Salt (to taste)
  • [A] Pepper (to taste)
  • [B] Five-Spice Powder 1/2 tsp
  • [B] Soy Sauce (to taste)

Steps

  1. Soak 2 cups of Kinme Rice (approx. 300g) in water for 30 minutes, then drain well in a colander.
  2. Place the soaked rice into a pot.
  3. Add 300ml of unsalted tomato juice to the pot, cover, and cook for about 25 minutes.
  4. Spread the cooked tomato flavored rice onto a plate and let it cool down slightly.
  5. Heat 2 tbsp of premium white sesame oil in a frying pan.
  6. Pour in 1 beaten egg into the frying pan. Once it's half-cooked, add the 250g of tomato flavored rice.
  7. Mix with a spatula and stir-fry thoroughly until the egg is well incorporated into the rice.
  8. Add a pinch of salt and a pinch of pepper and mix.
  9. Increase the heat to high and add 10g of salted pork, then continue to stir-fry.
  10. For aroma, add 1/2 tsp of five-spice powder and a dash of soy sauce. Stir everything together with large movements.
  11. Finally, add cilantro torn by hand (to taste) and mix briefly. It's done.
