  • Sweet Potatoes 3 large

  • Water 200ml

Steps

  1. Place the 3 large sweet potatoes in the rice cooker.
  2. Add 200ml of water to the rice cooker.
  3. Close the lid and cook using the regular cooking mode.
  4. Once cooking is complete, check if a bamboo skewer slides through easily. (Key Tip! The rice cooker's auto-extend function may result in a total cooking time of 1.5 hours.)
  5. While holding the sweet potatoes with paper towels, peel off the skin.
  6. After peeling, trim off both ends of the sweet potatoes.
  7. Slice the sweet potatoes into pieces approximately 5mm to 7mm thick.
  8. Arrange the sliced sweet potatoes evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Bake the sweet potatoes in a preheated oven at 100°C (212°F) for 1 hour.
  10. After 1 hour, remove from the oven and flip all the sweet potato slices over.
  11. Return to the oven, preheated again to 100°C (212°F), and bake for another 1 hour.
  12. Once baked, let them cool down to room temperature. Your dried sweet potato is ready!
