  • Hondashi 2 tsp
  • Soy Sauce 2 tbsp

  • Shichimi Togarashi to taste

Steps

  1. Cut off the root ends of the pea sprouts.
  2. Divide 1/2 block of firm tofu into 2 equal parts.
  3. Further cut the tofu into 6 equal pieces.
  4. Add 600cc water to a pot.
  5. Add 2 tsp Hondashi to the pot.
  6. Next, add 2 tbsp soy sauce, 2 tbsp Mirin (Sweet Rice Wine), and 2 tsp sake, then bring to a boil.
  7. Once the hot pot broth boils, add 200g bean sprouts.
  8. Scatter in the cut firm tofu.
  9. Bring to a boil again.
  10. Add 250g pork small cuts and simmer until about 80% cooked.
