- Pork Small Cuts 250g
- Firm Tofu 1/2 block
- Bean Sprouts 200g
- Shirataki Noodles 1 pack
Seasonings
- Water 600cc
- Hondashi 2 tsp
- Soy Sauce 2 tbsp
- Mirin (Sweet Rice Wine) 2 tbsp
- Sake 2 tsp
- Yuzu Kosho 2 tsp
- Shichimi Togarashi to taste
Steps
- Cut off the root ends of the pea sprouts.
- Divide 1/2 block of firm tofu into 2 equal parts.
- Further cut the tofu into 6 equal pieces.
- Add 600cc water to a pot.
- Add 2 tsp Hondashi to the pot.
- Next, add 2 tbsp soy sauce, 2 tbsp Mirin (Sweet Rice Wine), and 2 tsp sake, then bring to a boil.
- Once the hot pot broth boils, add 200g bean sprouts.
- Scatter in the cut firm tofu.
- Bring to a boil again.
- Add 250g pork small cuts and simmer until about 80% cooked.

- Carefully skim off any scum from the pork.
