- King Oyster Mushrooms 2 packs (approx. 200g)
- All-purpose Flour 1 tbsp
- Beaten Egg 2
- Aonori (Dried Green Seaweed) 1 tsp

Steps
- Slice the King Oyster Mushrooms (2 packs, approx. 200g) vertically into about 5mm thick slices. You can also cut them in half lengthwise for easier eating.
- Place the sliced mushrooms in a food bag. Add the all-purpose flour (1 tbsp) and gently shake to coat the mushrooms evenly, being careful not to break their shape.
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- In a bowl, whisk together 1 egg and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Dip the king oyster mushrooms into the beaten egg, then arrange them in the heated frying pan.
- Once the mushrooms have browned on one side, flip them over and cook until both sides are golden brown.
- Remove the cooked mushrooms to a plate. Cook the remaining mushrooms in the same way. [Pro Tip!] Aim for about 1 egg per pack of king oyster mushrooms, adding more egg mixture as needed while you cook.
- For a flavor variation, whisk another egg in a separate bowl and mix in Aonori (Dried Green Seaweed) (1 tsp). Dip the remaining mushrooms in this mixture and fry them.
- Any finely chopped or broken mushroom pieces can be dipped into the leftover beaten egg and then poured into the frying pan to cook, ensuring no waste.
- The finished Golden Pan-Fried King Oyster Mushrooms are delicious as they are with salt and pepper or the seaweed flavor. You can also enjoy them with accompaniments like ketchup, mayonnaise, soy sauce, salt, or wasabi, according to your preference.
