- Corn 1 ear

- Salt 1/5 tsp
- Water 1 tsp
Steps
- Remove the husks from the corn, leaving 1-2 inner husks attached.
- In a bowl, mix 1/5 tsp salt and 1 tsp water to create a saltwater solution.
- Peel off the remaining inner husks to expose the kernels and remove the silk.
- Take the kernels of the corn all the way to the base and lightly dampen the surface with water.
- Pour the prepared saltwater over the entire corn and let it absorb into the surface.
- Replace the inner husks and lightly sprinkle water over them.
- Wrap the corn completely with plastic wrap.
- Place the wrapped corn in the center of the microwave and heat on 600W for 4.5 minutes.
- Once heated, let it steam undisturbed for 2-3 minutes. This is the key! Steaming ensures even cooking and enhances the sweetness.
