  • Potato Starch (as needed)

Seasonings

  • [A] Mayonnaise 1 tbsp
  • [A] Grated Garlic 2 tsp
  • [A] Soy Sauce 2 tsp
  • [A] Chicken Bouillon Powder 1/2 tsp
  • [A] Sugar 1/2 tsp
  • [A] Cooking Sake (Rice Wine) 1 tsp
  • [A] Black Pepper (to taste)
  • [A] Vegetable Oil (for cooking)

Steps

  1. Cut 300g Chicken Breast into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Place the cut chicken breast into a bowl or a ziplock bag.
  3. Add 1/2 tsp Sugar and 1 tsp Cooking Sake (Rice Wine), and mix well by massaging.
  4. Add 1 tbsp Mayonnaise, 2 tsp Grated Garlic, 2 tsp Soy Sauce, and 1/2 tsp Chicken Bouillon Powder. Close the bag and mix thoroughly by massaging. Ensure the seasoning is evenly distributed throughout.
  5. Remove air, seal the bag, and marinate in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
  6. Coat the marinated chicken evenly with Potato Starch (as needed).
  7. Lightly oil a frying pan with Vegetable Oil (for cooking) and heat over medium heat for about 30 seconds.
  8. Arrange the chicken pieces in the pan, cover with a lid, reduce heat to low, and cook for about 3 minutes until lightly browned.
  9. Once a nice brown color appears, flip the chicken pieces.
  10. Cover again and cook over low heat for 2 minutes.
  11. Remove the lid. If the surface is sticky, flip again and cook briefly.
  12. Finally, turn the chicken pieces over and cook for another 1-2 minutes, ensuring it is cooked through on both sides.
  13. Sprinkle with Black Pepper (to taste).
