- Rice 200g
- Bacon 50g
- Egg 1
- Butter 5g
- Shredded Nori (seaweed) to taste
Seasonings
- [A] Soy Sauce 1 tsp
- [A] Mirin (Sweet Rice Wine) 2 tsp
- [A] Sake 2 tsp
- [A] MSG(Ajinomoto) (MSG) 3 dashes
- [A] Black Pepper to taste
Steps
- Cut 50g of bacon into thin strips.
- Stir-fry 50g of bacon in a frying pan without oil. 【Tip!】 Frying without oil renders excess fat from the bacon, resulting in a crispy finish.
- Add 1 tsp soy sauce, 2 tsp Mirin (Sweet Rice Wine), 2 tsp sake, 3 dashes MSG(Ajinomoto) (MSG), and black pepper to taste to the fried bacon and simmer until reduced.
- Once the liquid has evaporated, add 5g butter and melt it in.
- Crack 1 egg into the frying pan and cook until set.
- Serve 200g rice in a bowl and sprinkle shredded nori to taste over it.
- Place the cooked bacon and egg on top of the rice.
- Drizzle with mayonnaise if desired.
