- Dashi Pack 2 bags
Seasonings
- [A] Soy Sauce 200ml
- [A] Mirin (Sweet Rice Wine) 100ml
- [A] Sugar 40g
Steps
- In a bowl, combine Soy Sauce 200ml, Mirin (Sweet Rice Wine) 100ml, and Sugar 40g.
- Break open the dashi packs and add the contents to the bowl from step 1.
- Mix all ingredients thoroughly.
- Let the mixed seasonings sit for about 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes, transfer the seasonings to a pot and bring to a simmer for about 30 seconds.
- Pour the finished noodle soup base into a storage container.
- Once cooled, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate. (Secret Tip!) Letting it rest in the refrigerator overnight will further meld the flavors and thicken the sauce.
