- [A] Consommé powder 1 tsp
- [A] Sugar 1 tsp
- [A] Grated Cheese 1 tsp
- [A] Magic Salt 1/2 tsp
- [A] Dried Parsley (to taste)
- Salt (to taste)
- Frying oil (to taste)
Steps
- In a bowl, combine Consommé powder 1 tsp, Sugar 1 tsp, Grated Cheese 1 tsp, Magic Salt 1/2 tsp, and Dried Parsley (to taste). Mix well.
- Peel 3 potatoes and slice thinly using a slicer. [Key Tip!] Slicing thinly and evenly makes them easier to roll and cook faster.
- Place the thinly sliced potatoes in a bowl, sprinkle with 2 pinches of salt, and let sit for about 3 minutes to allow the salt to penetrate.
- After 3 minutes, quickly rinse the potatoes and thoroughly pat dry with paper towels.
- Lay out one slice of potato, and place another slice on top. Starting from one edge, roll them up tightly and secure the end with a toothpick.
- Lightly coat the rolled potatoes with all-purpose flour (to taste).
- Pour about 1cm of frying oil into a frying pan. Place the potatoes into the oil *before* turning on the heat.
- Heat the pan over medium heat and fry until the potatoes are evenly crispy and have a nice golden-brown color.
- Once the potatoes start to color, adjust the heat to medium-high to medium and continue frying until they are extra crispy.
- Remove the toothpicks once fried. Sprinkle the prepared seasoning mixture generously over the potatoes.
