Steps
- Wash and peel the potatoes with a peeler.
- Shred the peeled potatoes.
- Sprinkle 1 tsp of sugar over the shredded potatoes, mix well, and let sit for 5 minutes.
- Squeeze out the moisture from the potatoes and return them to the bowl.
- Add pizza cheese and potato starch to the squeezed potatoes and mix thoroughly.
- Pour the mixed potato mixture into a frying pan.
- Once you hear a sizzling sound from the potatoes, cover with a lid and steam for 6 minutes.
- After 6 minutes, remove the lid and gently flip the galette.
- Cook the flipped galette uncovered for 3 minutes until golden brown.
