Ingredients

- Potatoes 3 pcs (approx. 300g)
- Onion 1/2 pc (approx. 100g)
- Canned Tuna 1 can
- Milk 100ml
- Shredded Cheese 50g
Seasonings
- Grated Garlic 1 tsp
- Granulated Consomme Soup Base 1 tsp
- Butter 10g
- Coarsely Ground Black Pepper (to taste)
- Salt (to taste)
Steps
- Peel and remove any eyes from 3 potatoes (approx. 300g) and slice thinly.
- Peel and slice thinly 1/2 onion (approx. 100g).
- Heat grated garlic 1 tsp and the oil from 1 can of tuna in a frying pan. Sauté the onion until softened.
- Add 100ml of water and the potatoes, stir, cover, and simmer for 5 minutes over low heat.
- After simmering, roughly mash the potatoes with a spatula.
- Add 100ml of milk, granulated consomme soup base 1 tsp, butter 10g, and the drained tuna from 1 can of tuna. Cook until the mixture thickens. (Key Tip: Milk can curdle if boiled vigorously, so adjust the heat and cook gently.)
- Season with salt to taste and transfer to gratin dishes.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese 50g and coarsely ground black pepper (if desired) over the top. Grill until golden brown.
